how do you put a reserve on a item thanks
i am selling some vintage guitar effects ibinez ue400/yamaha e1010 and dont want to get riped of thanks
Hi, It will cost you extra to put a reserve on and the trouble with it is that if you put a reserve on of say £50 and start the bidding at £20 – someone could put in a bid of £60, but if no-one bids against them the item will stay at £20. To get the £50 you must have at least 2 people put in bids of £50 or over! A much better way, is to start the bidding at or near, your reserve price, then if only 1 person bids you will still get a resonable amount. It’s cheaper too! Also another tip is – if you dont get ANY bids re-list the item, it often sells the second time and Ebay will refund the first listing fee
