Guitar scales for beginners?
A month ago I bought my first guitar, electric guitar, but I am currently be a period of lack of interest in the game. I think it's because they can not play anything I know two scales, but I do not know what they are. What I want is a little ladders that can be stored, which could contribute to improve, and perhaps more motivated to play. What do I learn the scales, which are easy for beginners? Can anyone link to a site / video that says exactly what fret and string to play? Currently I am unable to get a teacher because I am bankrupt, so it is out of question. Now I can play what I think is the G major scale: from the low E, 3-5/2-3-5/2-4-5. Is this correct? In addition, I can play (again, which I think is) the minor pentatonic scale: the low E, 5-8/5-7/5-7/5-7/5-8/5-8. Are the correct names?
T names scale right, and there are certainly good books on scales and modes (like Alfred Guitar Scales and modes). I agree with GtarCzar However, you must begin to learn chords and notes are in the first ball. Learn to read maps and music arrangements. Most series of lessons, and it will take to through the initial concepts refer to things like armor, scales and modes. Also, once you learn all the notes in first position moving to the second, third, fourth, etc. (once to get to this point there are excellent books on studies of post). The Books are very cheap, but if you can not afford it, go online and find online tutorials on these subjects. But I agree that we must learn basic chords and notes in first position first.
