What is the difference between these Tama Starclassic drum kits?

I know that the difference between the Maple and Bubinga is that the shells are made of Maple or Bubinga wood respectively, but what wood is better for what occasion? And, what is the difference between all the different Bubinga models?
I’m interested in buying a kit soon to replace my current kit so I’d like to know how these differ.

ok well obviously the main shell wood is different between maple and bubinga. the bubinga has an outer ply of maple. the elite just has different outer ply of wood. the EFX just means a different finish (shell wrap, versus a laquer for the non-efx).
as far as the wood, well that is up to you. its all about personal prefference. but in general, bubinga wood gives a rich, warm sound with higher tones. maple is brighter and accentuates a full, uniform sound. maple is a standard and many people use it because of its versatility. you get good low and high end tone resonance and a bright sound. maple is a lighter wood than bubinga which is why it sounds brighter.
i myself play a starclassic maple and would highly suggest this set. i love my set, but i enjoy playing on my buddy’s starclassic birch set too (which is also a great wood, btw).
