How do i get the videos on my computer in my itunes?

i have a mac computer and i want to put these (QuickTimePlayer) movies on my itunes!!!! the only problem is when i drag the video 2 the movies slot in itunes it wont show up pop up or download onto itunes. PLEASE!!!!!! HELP!!! IT DRVIING ME NUTS!!!!!
P.S i have an ipod tocuh if t matters. Ive donload movies before, but never QuickTimePlayer Movies
