Which Acoustic Guitar Is Better?

I’m looking for an electro acoustic guitar to play live in my band, from small pubs to big outdoor gigs.

We play Contry/Folk/Rock music.

As it goes now i’m torn between these guitars.

Out of the two, I’d say the epiphone is better but I wouldn’t go for either guitar, ive played them both, and they both suck. If i where u, id spend a little extra a get a fender 140sce(my first guitar) its the cheapest fender electric you can get the wont totally suck.

I’ve never played an epiphone that id like other then a masterbilt so id stay away from those (epiphone is the bargain brand of gibson), you should never buy a guitar that doesn’t have a solid wood top, preferably spruce, and if you can get a solid wood back too that’s even better, the sides are not that important.

I like breedlove’s guitars myself (though i think there out of your price range) for under a thousand dollars they sound better then taylors and martins and sound amazing when you plug them in.

Another guitar brand you should consider is sunlite, there not a big company and i think they make there guitars in china or something but to tell you the truth any guitar under $800 dollars its probably going to be made in china our somewhere else in asia. The reason i like sunlite guitars is because even though they’re knock off guitars, they’re really good knock off guitars, and they’ll probably sound better then anything else in your price-range, you just got to find a place that sells them, just something else to consider.

p.s. I’d spend as much as possible on a decent acoustic/electric guitar because unlike electric guitars if you buy a cheap acoustic it’ll sound like crap. especially when you plug it up.
