How to escape the routine music?

Play guitar and saxophone and I feel like Im not learn something. I know what I to improve the sax, but no idea im on the guitar. I know my major and minor pentatonic scales in blues, but thats about it. I can and I know in most of the techniques well. alternate picking string skipping. I know dozens of strings (still learn) and rhythms, so I do not know what to do escape the routine music. (I forgot to say that I can improvise very well too. I have about a year playing)

Get a very good teacher, if money is a problem in trying to find a class in college for two years in your area or visit your local parks and the website's entertainment offerings class. I suspect that the insulation can be no question. Guitar particularly the social aspects have to look for these opportunities, playing with singers and group settings can help to stimulate ideas.
