Playing guitar music …?

How you doing exactly? I'm trying to learn to play guitar and I wondered how you know what you agree to use the music playback time. I know that the labeling of strings (A. ..) I know how to count beats. I know a few chords. How do I know if you use agreements or by simply pulling on a string? How to know when to scratch "low" or "up".
