The fundamental frequency of a guitar?
I am working on an acoustic guitar and often need to find the fundermental. I think this note could be on the sixth string (the thickest string). Look at the cards I know that this note should vibrate at 82hz but that is my problem ….. key edge frequency = speed / 2 x length of chain (which is a wavelength) 340 / 2 x 0.648m = 110 IM with a large amount of Hz, there someone does not know where Im going wrong.
I think you started on the wrong path. The wavelength on the string is not to do with the propagation of sound in air. its spread in the air as a compression wave. the vibration of the string side. The keyword your project is "sound". Ask yourself why the issue is limited to acoustic guitars. What I understand that the guitar would Frequncy fundamental frequency natural resonance of the soundboard. The sound box is not designed to have a sharp peak at any frequency, otherwise it would amplify some notes more than others. Its goal is to have a broad peak. What determines the resonant frequency of the resonator is mainly the volume of air it contains and the size of the hole. This is known as a Helmholtz resonator.
