Guitar for beginners?

Hi I am trying to learn to play guitar. I have an electric guitar and guitar book Dummies. Every Once I am concerned and scrape the 3rd string (and sometimes the three strings and 2) the sound is always busy or blurred ow / e has simply not good even though I know I'm not impressed by the string by accident and I'm pushing hard enough. Does anyone know why and how to solve it? also if anyone has good advice a beginner like me would like.

Perhaps a variety of reasons. Action (String height) may be too low. In general, can be fixed with a quick adjustment on the bridge (bottom of the guitar where the string is attached) Try turning the screw or nut to raise the chain a little. The problem could be that the nut (cover guitar) is exhausted. It is very simple replace the nut, but I would not try it myself if I did not know what has been done. Good luck.
