I sound like I’m talking when I’m singing?

I’m a musician and I just started singing, but i play piano and guitar. I know I’m in key when I sing (because i use a chromatic guitar tuner that tells me what note I’m singing as I pound out the notes on my piano) but my voice sounds like im talking when I’m singing or it sounds tonally flat and has no character. I’m getting really frustrated. and yes, I’m singing from my diaphragm and opening the back of my throat and not singing through my nose But it still sounds like i’m talking when I’m singing? Does anybody have any advice?

Try to put more feeling into it. Maybe also you’re not singing in a good vocal range for you Try singing in different ranges and see which one is comfortable but still occasionally challenging.
